Honda CBR250RR Babyblade

The Honda CBR250RR MC22 is a 250cc sports bike produced in Japan between 1990 and 1996. Best known for its combination of speed (compared to other bikes in its class), redline of 18,500 RPM, and sleek good looks, the CBR250RR has etched out a legendary status for itself, as one of the most popular beginner bikes in the world.
History
The MC22 model of 1990 was the successor to the earlier CBR models which were launched in 1986. The only similar feature from the earlier models was the MC14E engine, which was improved for the MC22. The MC22 remained virtually unchanged for its 6 years in production, except the 94-96 models were limited to 30kW down from 34kW to comply with changes to Japan's laws.
The BabyBlade as it has come to be known (as a mock to the more powerful CBR1000RR FireBlade) can now be found all over the world. It is particularly popular in Australia and New Zealand as it is one of the most powerful learner legals available. However this could be subject to change with the introduction of the LAMS licensing system.
